It seems like forever ago that I drove up to the secluded house in Surrey that houses two of my favorite Vancouver music personalities.

Speechless AKA Aaron Hamblin www.speechlessbeats.com is a probably one of the most underrated producers in Vancouver. This guy is incredibly creative and makes beats that I find multi-dimensional and full of personality. THIS, my friends, is a rarity today :) Just look at what's on the radio...everything sounds EXACTLY the same. It's because of Aaron's commitment to the pursuit of GOOD music, that I jumped at the chance to work on his album!

I rolled up to his place totally excited because it was to be the first time that I'd actually MET these guys! After chilling, chatting and checking out YELAWOLF ( thanks for the knowledge Atlin, that guy is sick) We hit the studio! What ensued was MADNESS! The record is dropping in early september, and will BLOW your mind. Featuring performances by some of Van ( and it's Island) City's finest including...

Forgot About Dre!

Last Monday we had our first V-Retreat to Hip-Hop Karaoke at Fortune Sound Lounge! This video is evidence of just some of the madness that took place that night.

Peep this link. One of Vancouver's sickest DJ's might very well be D-Rec. I had the pleasure of hitting the stage and singing while this guy spun the very illest in hip-hop beats. He has a new project in the works named Brass Tacks which is bound to blow up. You can find this man at the El Dorado ( Wednesday Night), and Monday nights at the Modern ( Hip-Hop night hosted by Emotionz)

I left my heart at the El Dorado....

Last night was an absolute riot of a night at the El Dorado! I hit the stage with some of my fave Van City rap cats such as JP Marin ( Coast Riderz), Ta-Naz, Mr Freeze, Russian Diamonds and my boy D -Rec a.k.a The Crate Crusader on the 1's and 2's. Keep it posted here for pics and videos from the event. We absolutely rocked the house, and will be doing the same every wednesday so if you like cheap beer, and wicked music, I suggest you hit the El Do!
